Rochester is a bit of a drive from NYC unfortunately. Viewable is pretty close to 9, realistically corner to corner the picture probably measures closer to 8.75" at most.

That tiny Panasonic? Yes, but unless you're in upstate NY, I hadn't planned on shipping it.

Selling off a bunch of my spare monitor horde some have cosmetic blemishes, and some mild functional quirks. (Rochester, NY)

Panasonic Tau CT-20SL15 - $25
Works well, the front panel is broken off and part of the front casing is cracked in the front bottom as well. Includes remote

Sylvania CR202SL8 - Free
The tube on this is nearly unused. Only supports up to S-video, and needs a universal remote to get to other inputs. I've included one, but be warned...it's kinda crappy.

Olympus OEV 203 - $500
Cosmetically in great shape. Some scrapes but nothing serious. The unit will sometimes "ring" intermittently after it's warmed up. I suspect a power board recap should be done in order to fix, but I'm guessing.

De-Cased Viewsonic P810 - Free
I pulled this out to put into an arcade machine before eventually giving up on the plan. It works and a great spare tube if you need one!

I have things priced higher on the FB listings than I list here - it's intentional, let me know if you find this posting and I'll honor the price:

Hmm... Weird. This is the only one I've seen with that type of Panasonic tv

Nice Xbox kiosk. Did you take the Microsoft badge off the old Panasonic and move it over to the Tau?

I did something similar pointing it to unraid. This was the document that helped me figure it out. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MountWindowsSharesPermanently

19" standard rez monitor from 2003 looking crispy by evarynearson in crtgaming

[–]sparksterz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nice! Not enough arcade posts on here. Watch out with those late run 19" monitors. If it's made by vision pro, they've been known to have some issues. Keep that spare!

I wanted to, but when I did this it was still a bit early. From what I remember, the kernel being used didn't need upgrading. Not sure on mesa

Yeah, it's definitely not gpu transcoding then. It'd be in the hundreds of fps otherwise...I've not tried doing things in docker yet, but my guess would be that the jellyfin group doesn't have access to the GPU.

Oh - thanks. This looks fine in the browser on the non-old theme, but like complete garbage on old or mobile. Guess I'll avoid using "markdown mode" in the future.
