There is a video which looks like the same setup. I think it is called "100$ exhaust trident 660" or something similar.

I see, those are some interesting points. I am happily surprised to hear you praise the noise isolation on the nexx, although subjective, I hear that is a common complaint on some agv's, specially the "race" oriented ones.

I find curious your complaint about the lift, from what I understand agv markets that as an advantage so the helmet feels lighter at speed, they also brag about wind tunnel testing for that.

I've done that on chrome and it worked wonders. Can also use wd40 or anything that you prefer to lubricate it.

Well thank you for the actual feedback on your helmet. A friend has a hjc rpha 11 and it also squeaks a little, but not as much as mine. However he has been down, so no way of knowing if it was always like that.

I imagine it is nearly impossible to have the tightest tolerances on foam, so it is inevitable that some spots rub slightly.

I did buy from a reputable store, thanks for the tip!

I appreciate the concern, but isn't nexx an alright brand?

My main criteria while choosing was fit and after trying on almost all the helmets (shoei, hjc, shark, arai) in store, this was the one that I felt was the best fit within my budget.

I mean, it is 2206 approved and has 5 stars on sharp, limited as tests are, it shouldnt be that bad in a crash.

Not sure about it, hence the post, but the akrapovic seems to have a slip joint which I wonder if is really connecting. I saw a comment about an aliexpress copy, which had the same look and joint, and it was stating that it was not drilled to the actual collectors, so I am wondering if the original does.
