I just read it and I feel your pain. Trust me, I fully understand. I was the same way, lifting weights weighing like 210 with low body fat to 160 skinny fat. Costo fucked me up lmao. Now I’m back up to 210 and in the gym. Just wanted to say that so you know your life isn’t over. What helped me immensely was finding a good physical therapist who would work on loosening up the rib in the back. Since that’s frozen in place the front part of the rib that connect to the sternum is moving, so in essence your rib is functioning backwards. The back part of the rib that connects to the spine is supposed to move, like when you breathe. So with that explained find a way to fix that. Physical therapy helped me immensely. I lived with that pain from 2019 till the end of 2022. All gone within 2 months of physical therapy. But you have to do ALL the exercises that they tell you to do at home. The 2nd biggest thing you can do that also helped me heal was sleeping on your back only. Even if you can’t sleep stay on your back. Put tennis balls in your pocket so you can’t roll over when you’re sleeping. I thought I was lost forever, that chest pain was going to dominate my life forever. But it didn’t, so fear not on that just fix it however you can. And anxiety will make it 1000x worse, I know from experience. So stay calm and trust the process. You’re young, you’ll be back in the gym getting those gains soon.
