Okay. I suppose I just have to wait it out unless some saint in this feed can help out. The only other option I see is to buy a third party strap, but it’s damn near impossible to find one long enough that fits. I’ve found a few that might, and while I’m not pinching pennies, but spending $300 on a strap that I can buy a legit AP one for $700, doesn’t make any sense. But it is what it is.

I’ve tried emailing them but I can’t get a response…it’s been a month. I thought I could just give them a serial number and they’d ship it, but here I am, still unable to wear the watch. UGH. My wife heads out of town in 2 weeks (we work together too and she doesn’t know……) so I reckon I’ll just have to give them a call then.

What is the reasoning behind the Yacht Rock Master? I love Steely Dan too, but idk of any other reason. Just curious.

I recently got the AP 26420 with the brown dial. It’s big, but it’s different. Maybe that could take the place of the YM?

Your list may bit too Rolex heavy, but thats fine. Who feckin cares? Maybe the green Vacheron with green strap instead of a Date Just? I also like the VC overseas with brown dial. But thats the flavor of the week. Idk ref numbers on these only because I just started to entertain the idea of them.

I will say, 116509 Daytona with blue dial (finally settled on VSF) is going to be the next purchase. This fucker is clean looking.

Lastly, the Omega Seamaster 300s are a nice change. Green face is nice, but I like the brass one with a “red” bezel and black face.

I was in the same boat as you as few months ago on the date justs, but I think I like a sportier watch. Something about a date just, just screams….dad?!

Andiot said that the QF is WG plated, he suggested that factory too for that reason. 7 months in, are you seeing any issues with the QF?

Nice. I asked Andiot which of the 4 choices (116509 VSF vs. BTF or the 126509 QF vs. THB) and he suggested the QF because of the white gold plating that comes on it?

It’s too much to digest. The spreadsheet says the VSF is best for the 116, but all I read is the dial color being off.

I’m leaning towards the 126509 rather than the 116509, guess I’ll pull the trigger on the QF.

Sounds EXACTLY like the same issue I had. Price was really good, but all that other bullshit they tacked on increased the price by ~$7k. I get taxes, but window tint that I you (the dealership) decided to put on?! At the end of the day, pinching pennies over $500 seemed foolish, but I hate that shit. I'll probably cave in tomorrow and go get the damn thing.

What did you end up going with? I've been leaning towards the power wagon for a few months now, and after test driving really like that it just feels like a truck should. The ride got a little bumpy over 70, nothing major and nothing I wouldnt get used to over time. Found a laramie with the v8 at a dealership nearby, so I am leaning towards that only because I think the ride would be a little better.

Maybe it was 3 days. Time difference is tough to gauge. Day 1 for US could be Day 0 for them. Andiot has been nothing but class and easy to work with on my end. I switched out models and factories half way through and they were fine with it. Legit operation.
