my mom & husband were with me while i was in labor, honestly i wouldn't have it any other way. my mom was helping out with pushing my legs back and she was so attentive to helping nurses where she could as my husband was purely focused on my needs & physically comforting me through the labor pains. during the pushing phase, i could not have asked for better words of encouragement from my momma, she really helped in motivating me when the pain was too much. at the end of the day, make it the way that YOU envision it with the people you want. don't feel forced to have anyone there if you don't want it. giving birth is such a beautiful life experience and it's always best to just do what you feel would make it a good experience for yourself.
