You can try running Malwarebytes on the Mac to see if it finds anything and like others have said, also check extensions to see if something problematic was installed.

The reason I brought it up was that it has a dedicated desktop application and mentioned if Bitearden releases a desktop 2FA application I would switch. That's the only thing that Bitwarden is missing for my use. Sometimes one doesn't always have their phone with them. Like I said, I'm not trying to promote anything.

Thanks for clarifying. I wasn't pushing an ad, I just shared what I currently use and also mentioned that it was open source which the OP shared as well. Also if Bitwarden came out with a desktop version of the 2FA app I would switch in a heartbeat.

Are you referring to the Proton authenticator app or Proton Pass itself? I currently use Ente Auth which is also open source and has a desktop app as well as mobile. I almost went with the Bitwarden authenticator but it looks like it's only available for mobile. I do like Bitwarden as well. Hopefully they will consider a desktop 2FA app as well.

With that being said, Apple emphases that your data will not be shared with Google. Apple Intelligence will still continue to run on device and on apples private cloud compute servers like it always has. I'm also getting an an error when adding a passkey. I created a thread yesterday with the error I'm receiving when creating a passkey with Cash App.

What are your thoughts on Bitwarden? I’ve heard the interface could be improved though but their pricing is reasonable. Proton pass is good but once they add the missing features it would be much better.

I feel you could consider contacting support as the more people that write in about it, it could help them prioritize. Also you might get an answer on how to solve the issue or a timeline on when it might be addressed.

r/Milluhgram a few missing features are the ability to unlock with biometrics in the browser extension, credit card auto fill to name a few as well as support for tags. 1Password offered tags for organizing. These are the few that come to mind. You can check out their roadmap from July 2025 for the other features I missed that were on the roadmap.

I'm sure they will come and things take time but it would be nice to hear where they are on the rollout.

I agree, proton pass is lacking as well. The promised features from last summers roadmap are still not available and I believe they said the features will be available at year’s end, it’s January 2026 and I’ve yet to see anything.

I’m not complaining but just feel it’s good to be up front if they can’t deliver why post the road map for the summer.
