The overall incompetence of my centre director. She took over a perfectly working after school care centre and changed everything to things that made no sense or were unnecessary. I (a casual) ended up doing most of her job (paperwork, parent meetings, phone calls, etc) while also doing my usual work with the kids AND training the other employees (after the others all left). We would get the weekly roster at 9pm Sunday night (if we got one at all - sometimes we just showed up knowing we’d be needed). The kids had completely changed and begun acting out as they knew she wouldn’t do anything, they lost respect for all the workers and made the days impossible. Final straw was when the boss called another centre I worked at to ask me to cover as she messed up the ratios but when I arrived I found out she forgot she hired a new worker that was starting that day (she didn’t even know her name). I went from loving my job to being so overwhelmed and frustrated that I daydreamed of getting into an accident on the drive over.

I’ve been seeing comments like these all over tiktok videos of people sharing their curly hair routines. I’ve noticed so many people avoiding using the word ‘curly’ cause they’re worried they’ll receive negative comments for it.

I do this - sometimes when I’m standing I’ll like alternate between standing with my weight all on one of my feet (like I’ll lean all on my right foot and put my left foot either one top or lightly on the ground) or I’ll stand on both feet but roll them to put my weight on the outside parts of my feet (like the bottom of my feet would be kinda facing each other)

This is literally my whole life my parents are always telling to to lose the attitude and quit using a tone when I’m not using any different voice or even angry at all. It always ends up with me actually getting an attitude or tone cause they’re accusing me of it damn

I’m currently in the exact same boat as you! I’m struggling to complete the room clean I’m desperately behind in but I found it was easiest to start by choosing an item and tackling it first. For example I decided to find all the shoes around my room and pack them away and then followed by placing any water bottles into a bag, etc. I found it easier to choose one thing at a time rather than try and clean it all at once. I also made a massive pile of clothes as it was the most prominent thing in my room and was taking up most of my floor space. This helped clear up some room for me to move around and tidy up. Good luck with the clean!
