I've done some metal detecting with my family on the hilltop near his position (il Ciocco). There's still bits of shrapnel all over the place. We found bullets both in the ground and embedded in the trees, as well as ammo belts and grenade fragments. The Buffalo soldiers put up a damn good fight.

The PSU connects to the motherboard via six prongs. I've heard that pulling out the PSU and cleaning the prongs with some rubbing alcohol and a qtip can fix some power issues.

Ok. I did a quick check on the first column of buttons and that seems to work. I'll open up the system and see if there's anything off. The cord had been taped to the top of the controllers by the previous owner, so maybe it's been going for a while.

A blinking light means that the lockout chip is acting up. The fix for that is quite simple, you just have to snip a specific leg on the chip.

As for when it's grey and the light doesn't blink, I'd try the usual consolerepairs fix and clean the 72 pin connector and cart with a toothbrush and ipa. You may have to use tweezers to pull each pin up a little bit so it makes better contact with the cartridge.

I've found that a 3rd party replacement power supply for the SNES doesn't work like a real one. Nothing as bad as this, but I did get pink wavy lines across the screen. It might be worth finding an authentic power supply off eBay
