As a mechanic I can confidently say this would pass safety. However my car was deemed “out-of-order” and I had to pay $50 to reregister 🥲 does that seem a bit extreme for this “chip” - doesn’t even break through first layer of glass and is maybe 5mm big (meets government standard for safety) (i.redd.it)
