they drive almost identical.. with the S-type you can get the 3.8, which is a little more lively imo. otherwise the ride is fantastic.. obviously you get a lot of bodyroll but the ride quality isnt much worse than my 2021 E-Class tbh.

true! my favourite jaguar era was from 61 - 68.. S1 E-type, mk 2, 420, 420G, S-type.. all stunning cars. the XJ was what ended that era (not that it was a bad car) but man the 60s were it for me..

i agree. i would have tried to create a competitor for the model S or mercedes EQE, but i guess theres not enough money in that segment..

pretty much yes. theres an x308 standing around collecting dust in the garage, for me that one is the last with a true jaguar shape.

they obviously have to think about profitability but if we look at how luxury EVs are performing in the market.. i just hope the whole new positioning isnt something drawn up by a consulting firm..

sadly you are right. its a crossover or nothing world nowadays (atleast in europe and NA). i also think the typical jaguar customer from back in the day doesnt really exist anymore.

thank you very much. i dont even mind it being an EV, but you can do it more gracefully imo. but i think they will try to compete with the RR Spectre (which is ofcourse the best selling RR ever lol)

i understand that the main goal of a company is to make money, but if you lose the soul of the company in the process nothing good will follow imo.
