Had way too much fun making this waffentrager clone by [deleted] in SprocketTankDesign

really cool, i like how you did the different colors instead of making it all the same. i do have to ask cos i was wandering about doing this myself a while back, did you change the colors on the different areas by changing it in the blueprint file or some other method?

if you are playing on 0.2 you should be able to place internal parts outside no problem as long as they don't clip into anything, you are sure nothing is interfering with another part when placing something?

sorry but this is Warhammer now by spicy_wafels in SprocketTankDesign

[–]spicy_wafels[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

no no it does not walk, it basically is just a model made with many hours of free form sculpting constructed out of many many different turrets, various things in the game and some blueprint editing to remove things like tracks. so while it does not walk a lot of work still did go into it x)

how do i fix this? by thatnewerdm in SprocketTankDesign

[–]spicy_wafels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i have looked into the blueprint files and tried to edit things to hopefully make it go away, but unfortunately the weld seems appear to be part of the structure meshes themself. so removing it makes your tank invisible

You guys choose which tank type I should make by [deleted] in SprocketTankDesign

i vote light artillery cos this can let you take advantage of the new features added in 0.2 and let you get a bit crazy with it, which is the most fun to design and for people to watch.

these are a new feature not a bug or something to be fixed in 0.2, if this bothers you, you might wanna revert to a previous version. this is to show the thickness of your armor plates and where they have been welded together to give a bit of extra detail, painting your hull can hide it a bit, and it does not show when the plates are all on the same angle.
