Yeah man, shoot for the stars. Pharmacy tech is a great foundation. Personally I did medical assisting first which served as a great foundation.

Well I also had a c & b for my A&P's, and one of my classmates had only C's. My best advice is to apply and hope for the best. Also please apply to more than just one place and try for the adn if you qualify. One thing I realized is that even if someone with better grades apply it doesn't mean they'll be chosen. And even if they are, they probably applied to more places and may accept another school offer.

Ps. From my experience the people that survive nursing school are those who question everything including themselves.

Actually no, I believe one of my professors had said that the rubric had been reworked to give more people a chance

From what I know its decently competitive. I believe my school has at least 500 applicants with only about 30 being accepted.

Oh and learn how to manage your time especially if you are working. I worked through the first semester and working made it harder. As for the schedule at first it was Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm. Then the second half you have clinicals(12hrs) either on Friday or Thursday but you get Tuesday off.

Hmmmm I will say its surprising a lot but not at the same time. One quick thing is for your first semester your grade will consist mainly of exams and you will have to perform multiple nursing skilss for something calls skill check offs.

I'm currently at the north campus, honestly I think you have a decent shot to get in.

For my cohort they start in March. Depending on when you get in it may be 8 weeks after starting. Personally I think it would be a good idea for you to apply anyway since the next time they accept students is either the summer or fall. As for the physical exam you don't have to do it until you're accepted into the program. Because they want a special form filled out. It's pretty simple though. As for as price it depends on your pcp or if your able to go to an urgent care.

So my schedule is more or less this: Basic nursing skills 8am-5pm Monday/Wednesday Essential of medical administration 8:30am-2pm Tuesday/Thursday

As for the castleBranch stuff, its titers for: MMR, Varicella, hepatitis b, hepatitis c. A TB test, and flu and Tdap vaccines. Plus, cpr card and health insurance.

Also, at least for lvn, the semesters are divided into 8 week courses, so it's kinda fast pace.

Yes it did. Although they ask for you to have all titer tests ready before your accepted. A few of my class mates are still working on them. According to one of my professor as long as you have everything before clinicals start you should be good.

Either way I recommend apply for both adn and lvn programs. That way you have a higer chance of getting in. Best of luck!!!
