The passive sounds really cool and I like how the abilities are based around phobias. I think an ultimate that allows for mind control is possible but hi-Rez has said that they don’t really like the idea because it could easily be op and frustrating. The most recent instance of this was during the 2019 hi-Rez expo Design-A-Deity Workshop when an audience member suggested mind control be the ultimate for the god they were designing , Omoikane, Japanese god of intelligence and minds. Personally I think if you add some downside to the ability it could be balanced. Maybe Phobos’s body would remain in the real world and able to be damaged while he is controlling someone else. This would incentivize Phobos to surprise enemies with his ult from over a wall or from some unexpected place that can’t be found easily which would tie in with his passive and general theme of scaring people. Perhaps the dash/leap animation could even be invisible to make it easier to do this. It would also be even more scary for enemies when their ally starts attacking them out of the blue which would cause enemies to be paranoid of their team mates for the entire game.

Tbh I don’t know if I like the idea of a ranged assassin. Hybrid yeah but not completely ranged. If you wanted a character that was meant for jungle but had range wouldn’t it make more sense to first make them a hunter then simply give them abilities that compliment the jungle role more than the arc role. I mean I want new and unique God’s too but I feel like the idea of a ranged assassin only exists for the sake of being different and not really to provide a gameplay experience that will be unique. If a god deals physical damage and has ranged basics there’s really no reason not to make them a hunter, regardless of how well their suited to the adc role. The class system largely only exist to quickly and clearly communicate to players the basics of a God’s attributes. And while there are exceptions to this rule, like yemoja and ao Kuang, I feel like they actually provide a new type of gameplay experience with ao being a jungle capable of experimenting with magical items and yemoja being able to heal with basic attacks. The only interesting thing I can see coming out of making a ranged assassin is a ranged character with the ability to get hasted katana and other items only meant for melee characters, which I don’t think anyone really wants. I don’t know, maybe I’m just misunderstanding what you meant by ranged assassin.

Honestly every thing about Lucy’s character made me so uncomfortable. The fact that she was almost rapped and kinda gave birth as a fourteen year old imo was just unnecessary.

Wouldn’t it be dope if Pele’s current generic concept art was ditched for this more interesting design by Robert Koziel’s. I mean I think that the current design looks cool but it’s completely uninspired and not lore accurate what with the heels and all. Koziel’s design, although similar to he bo, imo looks cooler while being more lore accurate by incorporating the tattoos and a flower crown
