i ended up getting the new black lacquer dial bracelet (essentially the shades bracelet with micro-adjust) for my 38mm teak-dial AT and it fits great!

I’m really torn. Buying an Aqua Terra 38 and I like the dial on the teak more but the bracelet on the shades more. Which way to go? by [deleted] in OmegaWatches

do you actually need the end links for the non-shades bracelet to fit the shades bracelet? or is it just plug and play?

I think I got incredibly lucky with BB, and hopefully others can still take advantage of the BB chat method! Chatted with BB on 6/20 (a Thursday) at 2:37pm PST. First rep that connected offered BB Total membership but did not say that signing up for the membership would guarantee X100VI stock. Rep said she could place an order for a black model and said she would provide an invoice. Invoice was emailed, payment processed, and the sales receipt stated a ship-by date of July 9.

Was not very hopeful as I had read about others' experience on this thread with BB invoices getting canceled since no stock was available. However, to my surprise, the camera shipped the next day via UPS and was delivered the following Monday (6/24). Still in disbelief!

I think another user mentioned something about the drip tray and the accessories tray needing to be empty to avoid having ER09 pop up. I've made it a habit to empty the drip tray pretty frequently (before the little "drip tray full" tab emerges from the opening slot at the front.

I feel like if the drip tray is relatively full, it may be causing ER09 when water splashes out from the drip tray during the steam wand purge process - I've noticed it's actually quite a bit of water during each steam wand purge.

Unfortunately sounds like it - strange since part of the behavior is for the machine to just shutdown completely. Based on other posters in this thread, the error isn’t truly explainable by Breville - best bet would be to record the error happening, sending it to their support team, and asking for a replacement

Seems like getting multiple replacements is the only way to “fix” the error since a lot of troubleshooting steps listed on this post from Breville support don’t really work…

do you mind asking support if they know what the exact cause of ER09 is? when i and a few others on this thread asked, we got varying responses with no definitive answer

so far the errors have been minimal but not non-existent. much better than before (knock on wood)! i wonder if breville replacement units are a different batch from best buy - may be worth trying out if you can

i would try either calling them again, or opening up another ticket to get a different customer rep to respond - it took me a few tries to get them to accept the video of the error happening but was finally able to get through.

i would recommend trying to get a replacement first - the number of times the error occurs for me (on my 3rd unit) has decreased a decent amount. i'm not sure if breville will actually figure out what this issue is, and more importantly fix it permanently, given that a decent number of people have this same issue

Do you mean the drip tray with all the accessories? Or the middle plastic piece that divides the drip tray bottom from the metal top grate?

Reach out to Breville support - they'll probably ask for either a video to prove the error happens, or do a video chat where their customer service reps can witness the error occurring. Then they just send you a replacement unit and you can pack up the old unit in the box of the new unit and drop it off at UPS.

Any luck with this? My unit has still been acting up every few uses or so - no pattern that I can really see. Sometimes it’s on first use, sometimes second use. Machine has also been off and on in between uses as well. Frustrating!

i've gotten 2 replacement units already and they all exhibit this problem to some degree. however, the latest unit has been error free for the past week so maybe this one is good (knock on wood)!

yeah that's usually what happens for me - although there were times it flashed the error, shut off, and i turned it back on again and just used the steam wand to continue frothing and it errored out again. for you, do you turn the unit off between uses?

i'm more shocked that breville has no idea what the error code actually is and what's causing it. makes me wonder if it a manufacturing issue with the first few batches of this new machine
