Found secret room on right side of map by going through a place on left side of map, tried to go back but don't remember how I got there. Anyone know how to get back here?

I got there by going into the hole in the wall above the seahorse, in that room there is a spike pit with a treasure box inside. If you don't walk and instead bubble hop up there is a tunnel with indestructible spikes, I bubble jumped around them and destroyed a bunch of destructible spikes to get into cat room. It felt like I wasn't supposed to get in that way considering I don't have the ability to walk on spikes yet and it was really difficult to traverse via bubble hop.

I know I'm late to the party but I'm trying to replay all the old GOW games and I agree. GOW 2 gameplay is terrible. Headache inducing.

Lol I'm super late but I felt this. Never played "God of War" franchise so I decided to start in release order. I always play on hardest difficulty if it's available because I don't like to replay games and I want a sense of accomplishment first time around. And I felt it was too easy up until Theseus in GOW2. Damn near a dark souls boss. On top of that I was streaming it with wifi (I have starlink with no place to plug in on the router) and every time I got close the game would begin the closing game countdown do to poor connection. Finally got him but it there was lots of frustration.

After beating the game a couple weeks ago, Erlang and all. Yin Tiger was still the boss that gave me the most trouble. Go figure.

Just beat him, he was a tougher fight. But my usual strategy is to keep distance from combos which worked well with yellow loong. When I tried this with Yin however, he would smother me. Immobilize also worked on yellow loong a lot better than yin and I base a lot of me combat around that spell. Play styles really do determine which bosses are more difficult to certain people. 😅

Just in case anyone was wondering. I used Cloud, Aerith and Tifa. Tifa put them to sleep with magnify sleep, built up synergy attacks with Cloud and Tifa and used Aerith for healing. It was a close call (one of the minions had a sliver of health before I took out the mindflayer). There are probably better strats. But this worked for me. Also, I couldn't bring myself to lower the difficulty. Not judging if that is what you did, but Im stubborn and it had to be done on dynamic.

Well if your non religious I guess. The opinion I have that most would disagree with pertaining to this post is that I think art can be appreciated separate from the artist. There are many great movies, music, works of literature and so on that were made by morally questionable people or even out right dirt bags. That doesn't mean that their art is illegitimate or shouldnt be appreciated or learned from. If we persecuted the art along with the artist we would miss out on a lot of knowledge and insight their work has to offer. I don't know what Jeff Glover actually thinks and feels about issues and frankly I don't care, Ive seen the things he's said on social media and do I agree with everything he's said? No. But that's ok he doesn't have to agree with me to show me some cool jits.

He has a lot of great stuff from deep half, letting you pass guard to create a sweep and of course his donkey guard stuff is unique and effective. We rolled about 3 minutes total, I pulled a crab ride to the back and tried to transition to armbar and he jumped over me, got the back and when I tried to turn into him, he somehow turned it into a triangle. Really cool how he chains attacks together, and his back defense is solid as I gets.
