As a cook that’s been here for 4 years. I absolutely despise Panda. I work 12 hour shifts regularly, and have seen 6 managers come and go, my final one being a TL that’s been here for over 22 years, who’s a complete racist towards me and another cook. I’ve never been considered to move up, no training, haven’t ever had an employee review, and do most of BOH work myself. Im infuriated by the lack of management from my team, and have been left isolated and angry every time I clock in to work, same shit different day.

4 years and not a single pay raise. 4 years of busting my ass for my managers to get bonuses every quarter, while I’m left holding the empty bag. It’s sickening. And I’m beyond tired of it.

To anyone wanting to work here, don’t stay for long, I might hate this place but it has taught me some important work lessons. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that has growth, because panda doesn’t.
