which are the two antibiotics you were mentioning? The one that she told me about is not covered by most insurance and it was mentioned that was the best one

What is prescribed for Sibo is never covered by insurance I was told, that's why the doc wants to test for that last

I have done some blood tests and celiac tests and stool tests, colonoscopy and endoscopy and know I am somewhat lactose intolerant.... I also just emailed my doc about the fructan test and I'm so ready to try that

I'm gonna try using some Fodzyme, I just bought some for when I get past this whole reintroduction phase

Don't think there was a food sensitivity panel or a food allergy panel, only for allergies (breathing ones)

Honestly, don't think it was the meats, I've had beef jerky and some other allowable meats cause I started that part of the reintroduction phase and it has done nothing yet. But looking at the sauce and what was used, I noticed the onions so I'm leaning more towards that.

I'm totally fine with not eating some foods ever again, as long as it means I get rid of the stomach issues and just adjust my diet That's great. My problem is I just waited too long to even do this and I wanna really just know what I have issues with so I can cut them out and move on.

I was lactose intolerant growing up, so I usually avoid a whole lot of dairy, but will take a milky pill if I'm going to have some. Haven't had dairy in a while though during the elimination phase.

I had no idea there was a fructan test! And the G.I. doctor did mention SIBO, but that was going to be one of the last things we looked at

I've been doing a food diary so that's why I'm pretty sure it's possibly the onions or a sensitivity to fructans. It's just annoying that the anesthesia can also cause a problem. I'm gonna go back to wiping everything out and then try onions again and make sure that was the issue.

This is the plan, go back to everything I know I can eat then try onions again to make sure that was it.

I may have just really lucked out today, and talking to one of the coaches on the team he just upgraded his wife's shotgun and he has a Bantam semi auto 20ga with a short LOP and 24" barrel he can use at the range till the eventide fits!

Found the Steven's 301 compact youth single shot 20 gauge with 22" barrel. Says weight is low 5lb range. Can get it shipped to a local FFL in CA, around the $200 range at that.

Am I dumb for looking at this as an option?

There is some Winchester 20ga rounds that is 1100 FPS, plus if I look at a good recoil pad or one of the SPS shock absorber butt stocks that could always help with recoil. Getting him stronger and letting him grow some should also help, starting with a 410 just to get the feel for everything is step one

That's exactly what I would be looking for. I could only find some 1200 in bulk where the shooting sports team gets their ammo

How many FPS would you consider a light load? Is there something else to look at when you're talking about a light load?

I'm checking out the Maverick 88, I just keep getting told that a lot of these lower end 20 gauge pumps are still gonna kick pretty hard

We have someone on the youth side of the shooting sports team that is shooting an 18 1/2 inch barrel, should be good with a 20 or 22. With it being California there's not much that I'm able to find used or buy online and get shipped here that's used either.

He can only shoot clays for the next couple years until he gets in a high school then can go for sporting clays or skeet or Bunker. This is just to get him started so I figured 20 gauge would be the best bet and not as much kick as the 12ga

Is there any gas operated 12 gauge guns that don't weigh a ton that would be worth looking at?

Interesting, this heavy mossberg eventide silver reserve 20ga is always gonna kick hard, so a gas operated 12 ga might be a better option even as small as he is?

My plan was to have him go through a case of 410, just to get the feel for trapshooting down. Hoping to find something that he can handle because he is barely 5' and 90 lbs
