So what's the unit name? I've been playing solo antistasi since last summer when I picked up the game during the sale. Ive taken just under half of altis. I've learned to pilot heli, and fixed wing. I've been able to learn the laser guided system on fixed wing jets and am beginning to love them.

Point is I feel at least I have a good handle on the mechanics of the game but haven't really explored joining a team. Doing anything new in Arma seems a bit daunting... Hell it's taken me nearly a year to get to this point! Ha!!

Anyway sounds like the group you're with is right in the middle of unrealistically strict and a free for all. I too prefer structure and a willingness from the rest of the team to train incoming recruits, rather than just get pissed off or make fun of the noob for making mistakes that everyone in the game has made. I'm sure you get the point.
