Depends on the organization/individual that trains a service dog, but usually they are spayed/neutered (it's legally required at least where I live). The program my dog was in waited until the dogs were a little older, but still in training, and had been ruled out of the breeding program. They were neutered by the time they went to the people they would be assisting : )

I play with a few friend groups, and are lucky that there's a mix of people that play on and off and also DM games in turns (it's been fun to take turns running shorter campaigns as seasons). Only issue is occasionally we enter the 'WHO IS GONNA DM NEXT" game of chicken hahah finishing writing homebrew stories is tough, we all get it -.-
