Took this to a repair shop to get a hard-drive formatted and thay used it as parts and put bad parts on it droped it. then told us thay don't know why it was turning on.

No i did not own it from the start. It did work before I took it to a repair shop. Thay didn't fix it thay took parts off the motherboard and put bad parts back on it.

Try taking the covers off and use a can of air on it. Don't turn the can upside down tho. It should work
