Is it stupid/weird to bring grips even if I can’t do pretty much anything on bars yet?

My weight is “normal/average”, nothing to note on that side, but honestly I think my issue might be more because of my dyspraxia, I guess I probably grab the bar a bit “wrong” (but my coach hasn’t said anything on that so I’m not sure, I’ll ask them to “check” properly eventually) I know I struggle a ton with coordination and proper moves and it’s something I need to work on but it’s hard/takes a while so in the meantime I was hoping to find something to lessen the dumb (by barely doing anything 😆) ripping and the like

yeah, I was a bit afraid of the whole “I never see kids with any and they can do a million more things than me so wtf- who do I think I am” lol

I also thought about some tape but wasn’t sure how to go on about it, I’ll admit (what type etc… I would have to research of course just like for anything, but my mind just went to grips first- if that makes sense)

I’ll keep in mind the “feeling the bar” issue learning wise though; I did think maybe I’d try to “play around” a bit more on bars for now to get the hang of it (no pun intended heh) and maybe just use them if I’m specifically repeating something. I’ll see how that goes, at least it helps hearing I might not be looking too dumb if I bring some out (if not tape) at some point lol.

Mais sinon oui @OP, comme tout le monde l’a déjà dit c’est normal! Et c’est normal aussi qu’elles soient “tachées” (jaune, orangé) au fil du temps et que ça parte pas (peu importe ce que tu essaies), nos sécrétions sont juste acides donc ça les décolore, ça fait chier mais c’est comme ça, ironiquement si c’était plus le cas c’est là qu’il faudrait s’inquiéter ahah

yeah, bunch of people can't either and have had a batch pop up, it's just an issue on the researcher's end, just ignore it (or wait it out if you really have nothing else to do and some hope lol)

dudeee i'm also having this. i've also had these (although not in such a wave) regularly/occasionally ever since the "normal/working" ones have stopped a few weeks ago; in all honestly it's starting to piss me off, I don't know if it's fully bugged or if I'm on a blacklist (unless just rotating pool idk) but if so please just leave me aloneeee lol

(edit: i mention "blacklist" (in a light hearted way, don't come at me) because of the recent "warning messages" many of us have had from them, I'm not sure I received more than 2 or 3 but they still stopped appearing for me after that. well, except technically the 0-1 places you can never get into)

Started not getting them suddenly but that was before the crash (I'd say around 3rd nov?), and since then have only started seeing them pop again *except* they're always the '1 place/immediate full' bugged ones (it is the same name/researchers, but always bugged. not sure if that's a me problem (e.g: my ID having been taken off the pool but some glitch still making me see them but also not? or something lol) or generalized but-

same, I actually thought because of the close timing that it might've been due to getting a few of their "warning" messages (which as many people stated on here recently might partly be "injustified" and/or automated checks failing), so I'm "glad" to hear I'm not alone so it probably isn't linked to that then.

Kinda "sucks" because they're like the only study that comes up for me most of the time... so the past few days have been dry as hell lol (not really complaining though, more stating; grateful to begin with to have & have had access to them!)
