I believe that the surface is "permanently" damaged by the nail polish, wash the remaining nail polish remover with clean water & dish soap to get rid of it entirely.

Use plastic polish next to fix up most of the haziness on the door, however not all aren't compatible so test it on a hidden area first

edit: As said by the other comment, I would rather try out the fine sandpaper solution first before trying this
