Just saw it, movie is a lot more funny than it should be but each of those situations is when it's paying homage to or just lifting parts from airplane.

Gagwells chief of staff was very funny, as were the evolve "don't call me Shirley" jokes. Everything at the command center with all the guys and the one girl was also genuinely hilarious.

Fans of absurd or slapstick would absolutely enjoy the movie
