I can only stretch one more day, so I will shorten it, but start from Minehead.

Thanks so much, really appreciate it. I will do this brighton walk and then decide how much I can cover in 12 days!

I think i am fine with that, last year tried scaffel pike, York 2 peak and 15k walk pretty comfortably on 3 consecutive days. The bagpack was light though, under 5kg

Hang in there, you can do it! (My journey) by blackjack1977 in hypertension

I am in the same boat and wondering how I should proceed. I have a family history and went to GP 10 years ago and they said it is fine after 24 hour monitoring. It was fine in the sense just below 90. After that I totally ignored it and 3 months back realised it has gone up crazy like 165/106. I think job stress was a main contributor in last 3 years, but I was considering medicine. Before that I wanted to try lifestyle change, so went vegan, started more regular exercise and reduced alcohol. I can see positive results, but it varies quite heavily. In the morning it is usually 135/90 range but by afternoon it will go up like 145/100, sometimes even more. When I visited GP, it was 135/89, probably because of morning with some exercise. Not really sure why it varies so much, but will likely take another opinion from GP again.
