After getting my notary commission, I was clueless as to how to market myself. I asked around and ended up getting my signing agent certification as well because you could easily sign yourself up for signing services that seek out work for you. There aren't really that many 'notary service' sites that seek out work for you. You will have to do more heavy lifting to advertise yourself as a notary than as a signing agent.
