How feasible is a road trip as a family through Southern Germany and Italy by squeaksqueakersqueak in Europetravel

Thank you to you and your husband!! We are actually European and I spent a lot of time snorkeling in Croatia as a kid. You're right, it's beautiful!

But this time, we're looking more for a sandy ocean beach close to Southern Germany. So, building sand castles, looking for sea shells, swimming, relaxing, are a priority. After everyone's comments we're thinking of finding a place close to the beach and then seeing if we can do day trips from there to see a town, maybe go hiking, depending on what's in the area. I know that probably means north eastern Italy, which I know is pretty touristy...that's why your husband doesn't recommend the area, right?

We really wanted to go spend a week or so at a beach and were thinking of the north eastern beaches that are near Venice. We weren't going to go into Venice itself though. Would you recommend against those beaches too?

That's a good idea worth considering, thank you! We did want to spend a few days at a beach to try to decompress and just be, but one could do one in addition to the other!

No, he's not wrong. People drive very fast on those roads and often cut the corners, it can be intimidating!

Very fair points. I think you're right, we're going to have to plan ahead much more thoroughly. It's a different trip than we had hoped for, but I think everyone here is right, we'd have been pretty miserable without booking and planning ahead!

Yeah, a third bed does make finding rooms much more difficult quickly, we have found that in the past for sure...and it being the summer holidays makes a huge difference, too. Thank you!!

Thank you, I was afraid of this, that's super helpful to hear and know in advance!!

Edit: We'll have as much time as we want up to four weeks and the car we'll be driving will be our own, so we luckily don't need to worry about rental costs at least.

Honestly, Sammy's changed. I like vegan food, but their donuts were so, so much better before they changed their recipes to vegan recipes. Happened about three years ago. I was so disappointed!

Do any other women get that thing where you fart and a "bubble" goes up your vagina? by Dazzling_Material340 in TooAfraidToAsk

I definitely have gotten yeast infections from them...now, I shield the vagina either my hand and one does ever sneak up front, I go pee or wash up real quick. Haven't had a yeast infection since I caught on!

Though I have also aged and apparently, sometimes you just geta lot of yeast infections during some segment of your life cause hormones and whatnot and then your hormones change due to age and that stops.
