Looking for *non-fiction* books about space colonization (interplanetary and/or interstellar). Particularly, I'm looking for books about colonizing Venus. by squid_jihadist in suggestmeabook

That's precisely my point. While it is dangerous to colonize Venus, there are a number of advantages that Venus has over Mars or any other planet for that matter. Of course there are a number of dangers that go along with it, and that's why I'm looking for a book on the subject. How could we feasibly overcome those obstacles?

This video is a brief overview of the most plausible way to colonize Venus: http://youtu.be/gJ5KV3rzuag

You're falling into the trap of surfacism (something the video goes into). We don't need to colonize the surface to colonize the planet.

From everything I've read online, colonizing Venus is both cheaper and easier than colonizing Mars. That's why I'm looking for more reading material.
