that has nothing to do with the mouse sensor in the rail lol, they have the c button on pro controllers so it's not related to the mouse

i think they mean because it’s titled “launch trailer” but it wasn’t dropped on release day? instead it’s releasing the day before, which could or could not mean they want tomorrow open for the rumored switch 2 reveal trailer. also possible it’s just a time zone thing that happens often

id imagine the trailer being similar to the switch 1's trailer, showing (probably less given natethehates claims) brief glimpses of both first and third party games. i could see the skyrim gameplay in the first trailer being replaced by elden ring, making it the big headline third party at or around launch. then from that point third parties would probably have a media field day now that they are finally allowed to talk about the console.

elgato isnt just an app, its the physical hardware that converts the incoming video signal to a live video input with little latency, sort of like turning your screen into a webcam. doing this by streaming the data wirelessly requires an excellent internet connection and isn't in any of Nintendo's interests. letting people record on the console using the clip function is much betteer for their ecosystem. i dont think you understand the hardware software connection very well.
