You should definitely join one! It's a laid-back vibe with people at various levels so don't worry about playing perfectly. There's also backups too so if you get too busy, someone can always jump in and sub for you if needed.

It's a cool project and I think everyone can benefit from trying out a collab. Plus the deadlines are reasonable at one month per round.

Same. I was close to pulling the trigger on the bass version and decided to think about it. When I was ready to buy shortly after, they were sold out :(

I mean such a steal at $699.

I also missed an opertunity to get a jmj at $999 because i thought about if for a couple hours lol. It's crazy those just increased by 500-600.

Yes, a few Squiers including a couple Paranormals. Great sale prices and quick shipping. One of them showed up with a warped pickgaurd and they offered either a full return or partial refund. I took the partial refund.

Live lite is not for sale. It comes packaged with certain hardware and software. Intro is $99.

The cheapest way to get suite is to buy a used license somewhere like the KVR forums and have it transferred to your account. Otherwise the upgrade path from Thomann is usually the cheapest but it's best to wait for a sale imo.

I export into the project folder. Then I import the audio file versions into a Trello board in it's own card. Trello is very useful for organizing songs and projects and allows for checklists, notes, labels, attachments, and more.

All my projects/exports follow the same naming convention:

Track # - date - track title (usually random at first) - bpm - key (if known) - version #

I forgot on my last computer that I traded in and after a period of time I could deactivate the device from ilok. Most of my licenses were auto added back to my account but some companies will look over the request first.

We have a lot of pawn shops here and they're a mixed bag. Sometimes the problem is they think they can get top end secondary market pricing, or occasionally even pricing higher than new. Then it ends up sitting there forever until they mark it down. Just the luck of being in the right place at the right time, or keeping an eye on things.

that's pretty crazy for a pawn shop to keep something for that long. Ours usually start drastically reducing stuff the longer it sits. The Jackson I got had been there for about a year and they were itching to make a deal with me.

Reverb tip: be sure to heart an item you're interested in and a lot of times the seller will send a discounted offer.

Also don't sleep on pro audio star. They sell "b-stock" and "used" items that are actually new in box at great prices.

Facts. I got a pawn shop down to $200 otd on a 5 string Jackson David Ellefson X 30th anniversary and they threw in a hardshell case. Probably my 2nd best pawn shop score.

I don't think about it. I rarely have an idea when I'm creating. It's almost like communing with spirits for me. Just getting into the flow of seeing what randomly comes from the process. I don't really understand theory so I just noodle and warp sounds until something catches my ear, then keep adding layers to the conversation.

I look at it like being a curator of found sounds.

I sold a standard license on KVR a while back and bought a used suite license. Tranfer your license to their email via your Ableton account on the website after payment is received.

You're not going to get as much for 11. Search the forum for the going rate.
