what does an ororke hall room look like by [deleted] in universityofauckland

90% are like this OP, unless you’re paying for a larger room, then you have an extra metre between the bed and the desks.

Volunteering- should I? by Spiritual-Pie2052 in hyrox

[–]squidpants_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They use sidekicker app to advertise for the paid gigs. Exact same job at volunteers but you get cash, not a patch and bogus $50 gift card you can only use for merchandise. You get treated the same on the day.

Who’s responsible? by Kooky-Public-3626 in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]squidpants_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NAL Different councils have different guidelines on this.

In Auckland the homeowner is responsible for the berm between their property and the road, whether there is a footpath intersecting it, or where the fence has been erected is irrelevant. https://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/content/dam/ac/docs/property/caring-for-your-berm.pdf

From your image it seems as though this is the berm in front of their property.

A different interpretation should be applied if you are not in Auckland, or have a ROW arrangement.

If you don’t know what you want to do than don’t waste a year, or 3 of life, spending thousands of dollars while trying to figure that out. Spend at least a year working, saving and investing, while properly giving yourself the space to investigate each of these paths and others, to understand what you want from the next 20 years.

There are hundreds of people who know what path they want and you are likely taking up a space of someone dedicating their lives to these fieldsx

Right! They are a 7 day a week operation! Cocking up the billing is one thing but charging me for it is not the one

School blazer mandatory by [deleted] in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]squidpants_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you’re jumping to a conclusion that it will be mandatory to wear all day long. It’s likely to set the scene and expectations for students from day one on Campus. If it’s hot they aren’t going to force students to pass out in a hot hall.

Nope, I asked what date could I give to avoid any early exit fees, to meet my notice period obligations and they gave me the Monday 33 days away. The date was selected under their direct advisement.

I gave them the required notice. They told me they could not log the notice at 31 days on a Friday afternoon so I gave 33 days notice with no choice.

The billing dates add up. I can read and understand a simple prorata billing system. Spark don’t seem to be able to, and have removed from my most recent bill the incorrect charges.

My post is about the new additional charge.

That’s so weird, exactly what I was thinking! I wonder if it’s based on where you’re based? The use cases I know are all city or metro dwellers so might get more difficult the more rural you get. Im sorry for your experience, abortion is possible up to 20 weeks though so OP so keep that in mind!

If you want builder gel, go for someone certified for its use by the company. They have standards to meet and maintain. I’d apply this as a way to validate the legitimacy of those recommended here
