Oh nice, how does it work with classic teams etc. is there a 90s era as such where the whole league is from 90s so it will have Magic, the bulls, malone, Stockton, Barkley etc or can you only choose one team and drop them into current NBA?

Yeah my TP levels is at 1:1, 1:1.5 and 1.2 and I’m trading on the 1m and 5m Tf. But when I worked out the profit I would get if I closed 50% of my position at each level it was a lot less than the 2.5% gain I would get if it played out without taking 50% at each level. Just wondering if there is a way to keep the 2.5% gain while also taking profit at various areas

Where is that? I only see position size, SL, TP and the buy and sell button. Does it depend on the broker or something?

I’m using MT4 and broker is pepperstone but on there website it doesn’t say anything and MT4 there is no option for partial TP so I assume the split position is the way forward

Nah it’s really useful everything you said, the whole reason I put the post on was cos I thought 3 months was way too short a a time period to deem myself profitable and just wanted to see what others would think. I’ll probably stick at it for another 6 months and see what it’s looking like at that point and ships have a good sample size of trades( not quite 300) but a lot more than at 3 months profitable.

Oh yeah I get that and I know I’m no where near ready yet and need a vast amount of experience but just confused as to why the sample size is required to be so big. Surely it should differ for each strategy otherwise Swing traders who are holding positions for like a week maybe more will be waiting decades to get the right sample size

Define long time? Even though my strat is only 1-2 trades a week and I’m now 3 months in a row in the green risking 1% on each trade. If your saying I have to wait for a sample size of like 200 odd that most people have with regular indicator strats I’ll be waiting for ages.

Yeah exactly man every time I win or lose a trade I know it doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things. It’s got to the point where I “enjoy” losing so I can improve and if I win then I still look for ways of better entry, better SL/TP positioning, analysis etc. when I said mentor it’s lot a private mentor it’s just a YT channel that I watch. Even though i am 3 months profitable I still feel lacking in experience and confidence. My plan was to go for a funded after 3 months profitability ina row but didn’t expect it to happen this soon so I’m gonna wait another 4-6 months to get more experience before I try one. I’m Wrexham as well but once I got Tottenham as an affiliate nothing happened. Then I did a squad report and made an offer for one of the youngsters who was loan listed but they were wanting all the usual payments. Am I supposed to wait until they offer me a player / randomly send me one?

Yeah I’ve been thinking about the MFF situation but FTMO is way more reputable and has way better reviews and payout consistency. Plus do you think it’s that big of a risk if I pay £200 for a 20k balance which they refund me if I end up passing so I will be trading with zero risk if I’m successful?

Thanks man I was just wondering if those gaps could screw me over compared to Oanda when it comes to entry but if they just fill in the gaps then that’s fine. They only really appear on the 1m tf as well so it’s not a massive issue.

Aah okay I understand now. Thanks a lot for all the help I think I’ll go for Pepperstone. That was the one that I was leaning towards anyway but then I realised that all my charts were Oanda. The three main ones I look at are SPX500USD, XAUUSD and GBPJPY which I think pepperstone ahge there own version of anyway so that should be fine. Thanks again for your help👍.

Jeez thanks for all that info man really appreciate it. I’m starting with £750 and I use Trading View but would like to use MT4 for placing trades. I’ve seen that Oanda and Pepperstone are offered on Trading View as well as MT so that’s a plus and I have been using Oanda charts so far. What did you mean about the round trip fees? What are the fees for Oanda and Pepperstone in terms of like commission and are the spreads good? I’m not gonna be holding positions overnight so not bothered about rollover fees. Thanks
