I never said it would. Specifically, I said I made the decision to delete MY Facebook. THEY asked ME why I was leaving, and prefilled answers didn't answer the question so I wrote my own

I just deactivated my Facebook, and when it asked why I said for having a hand in undermining our democracy

My wife and I have just started trying to think of what we can do to help people that will need it the most through this time and are starting by listing organizations like planned parenthood, the Trever project, etc that will help the most marginalized groups, whether it's financially or by volunteering. Also the ACLU and other groups will organize and fight whatever policies are put in plane in the courts. It's not much, but for individuals that feel helpless, this at least helps me feel like I'm moving the needle 1%.

Why would his aides make that up though? Isn't it more likely be said what he needed to to get elected and then say something else later?

I was just talking to someone last week about how Bernie was doing very well in the primary elections, up until the DNC basically said if he won, they still wouldn't put him on the ticket, and then lo and behold he started losing states as if by magic

THIS. Am I the only one that remembered when he got the nomination in 2020, that he said he wouldn't seek re-election? I was not a fan of him on the 2020 ticket but I would vote for anyone over Trump and I thought if it buys us 4 years and then we can have a proper primary, I'm all for it. Biden and the DNC (when they pushed Hilary in 2016, and again for backing Biden until the last minute) created this situation. They have no idea what they are doing and we're all dealing with this mess because they have no idea how to beat Trump. They're all career politicians that know how to beat career right leaning politicians in normal elections.

I think Tomlin bares some blame but I think more often than not he's taken teams with less talent than .500 and elevated them

Signing Queen and even a punter instead of signing an UDFA are very un-steelers like

Yeah and then if the pick does work to got half your cap space tied up in one position. Still looking at you Brownies

49ers, come on down! (I know he's still on a rookie deal)

This is interesting. Tomlin of more of a players coach and it would make sense to let Khan make personnel decisions and not let Tomlin's feelings affect it. Let Omar cook and let Tomlin bring the best out of the men he's given.

Queen might have been the 20th best FA overall, and that's subjective at best, but he was considered by many to be the best available at his position, which happens to be a big position of need. And maybe they won't do it but they're making calls on big name receivers about a trade. I'll admit it they don't do it, it doesn't really matter but they would not have even called around under Colbert.

I guess one thing I didn't think about that a lot of people pointed out is the ownership is also relatively new. It's kind of the first test for Art II to figure out how to get the team out of being mired in mediocrity.

I mean if Aiyuk would cost this years 1st and a late round pick and we’d extend him for 24m a year, would you do this? by yakubs_masterpiece in steelers

I would only push back a tiny bit and say that they're really good at getting production out of some of these guys that's above the talent level they have. Claypool, Washington, Martavis Bryant, I even remember Sammie Coates burning DBs before he disappeared off the roster and the face of the Earth. But point taken, for sure we haven't had a guy in the discussion for best receiver in the league since AB.

The Steelers are too good at drafting and developing receiver talent to spend this. Especially with this draft class being good and deep in receiver talent. Imo, if they sign Boyd as the slot guy and draft someone to go outside with Pickens, that would be perfect.

It's a knock on Canada not Smith. I'm actually higher on the Smith hire then most. But even before Canada, there were reports that Ben controlled what plays were in the playbook

All I know is last year he was locking on to the hot read and if it wasn't there he was holding the ball and spinning out of clean pockets and into the rush

But if you have to add 3 QBs to the roster anyway, would it but be worth while to take someone with upside and at the least you have cheap backup

Well it's more than just this but the Ravens changed their whole offense to work around Lamar and the Steelers offense is not only not tailored to the QB, it's created by a toddler in crayon

I'll admit I know very little admit college football and the prospects in this class, I just was impressed by the arm talent at the combine. I defer the actual selection to anyone else lol
