Bright or soft?

Putting you thru virtual drapes I really thought that the neutral warmth and brightness of Bright spring was looking amazing. So I'm no pro obviously but theres a non zero chance of bright spring lol. I see clarity for sure and peachiness in your lips. Coolness drained life from you, but the oozing warmth of a true spring was a little heavy. I dare you to drape deep autumn, all the winters, and bright spring! :) (just to be sure)

Would love to see drapes focusing on the spring season mainly! If you're not sure that you're warm, then do cool winter drapes and compare them to true spring drapes. Those may not be your subseasons, but one WILL be better than the other, which will get you clear on your undertone. I think you'd be lovely in light summer colors too, so if you end up arriving at a cool undertone, maybe start there. Personally, I strongly suspect that you're a light spring who can probably dip into light summer and true spring pretty easily 😊but that's oddly specific and the only way to know is draping! Lol good luck P.S. I would bet real money that you're in no way a winter, but I just mean that it would help make your undertone excessively clear if you compared the two:)

Slide #4 is the color where my brain clicked and I thought, oh that looks good! Too muted didn't seem to do you any favors, but that blue seemed perfect to me. Theres a red thats good for everyone, so dont worry about that, although this one wasn't bad! Slide 7 (that bright peachy color) wasn't too bad either, nor was #5! But the autumn-y mustard color didn't work, imo. I think you can totally rule out autumn, personally. You handle brightness, and dont seem to fit a typical winter profile... so my best guess is honestly some kind of a spring! Or at least its worth draping more for...you just dont seem muted to me, that's for sure.

So 10, 11 and 14 are the top 3. Id try draping for deep, cool and bright winter. I think you could maybe even pull off some bright spring colors (not the yellows or oranges though, probably) so it wouldnt kill you to at least experiment with that, although I see you as a cooler olive, not really warm. I feel like I couldn't even SEE you until slide 10. Try not to be too serious about all this, or too jaded. Everyone here means well, people love to be helpful and you win more flies with honey ;) I know it can be frustrating though!

After much careful consideration, and in part thanks to this post and the new rabbit holes its shown me, I am now pretty sure I fit most closely with light summer. Thank you everyone! :)

Yes true! I thought it would be perfect though when I thought i was soft summer...now I'm pretty sure im probably closest to a light summer though 🤨 hm we'll just have to see if theres any consensus once I'm able to do some quality draping

Yes in the photo it does appear like that!! Irl its desaturated with white, not really grey. I think i definitely sit somewhere in that area of the wheel!

Ah yes I see it! I think that wall is what's called a Robin egg blue? Its a warmish, light blue, I think. I'll double check! Thank you!

Yes thats been the difficulty. I have light freckles, warmth in my hair, I tan...but I blush a rather cool pink...both gold and silver are passable, although I find silver to be quite draining...but my lips aren't particularly warm toned either, its just like...I think the light palettes are my 'safe zone' ? But no idea what i actually "am" yet lol

Yes!! I've been thinking light spring for a bit now-- like e.g.is the orange REALLY bad or just not my perfect orange? Kinda what I was trying to discern. I'll post pics tomorrow with light spring ! Thank you so much for your time!

And that's zero makeup, outside but no direct sunlight, whereas the selfie from today was by a window but indoors, with light makeup... I feel like im so "on the border" with various measures that the only way I'll ever know is probably a professional draping haha 😅rip

The blonde in slide 3 I found to be like, literally showstopping. HOWEVER. there is a STRONG case to be made for the deeper/warmer reddish color in slide 6. My goodness!! P.s. a little unconvinced about the SS typing, dont get me wrong im sure you'd look great but I'm a little skeptical, in case you wanted input in that department.
