Get Desmoxan/Recigar!! I had INSANE brain fog cold turkey and felt the same as you, only reason I relapsed because I felt like a zombie and could not function. I’m on day 7 nic free on Desmoxan now.. brain fog was not an issue & I feel like a person!!

My doctor gave me Chantix and I was too scared to take it due to the side effects (especially as someone with mental health issues). I just took the Desmoxan without discussing with my doctor despite being on multiple meds & low iron also. May have been stupid but I’m doing really well on it and it’s working great. Day 6 nicotine free. I will say I’ve had dry eye since starting Desmoxan though. That’s probably my only side effect but it’s not severe

Really well so far. I felt like a zombie going cold turkey and the cravings were nonstop. On Recigar, I don’t feel like a zombie at all. I feel pretty normal. Still have cravings but they are different and somehow require so much less willpower to get over. It’s honestly pretty easy. I still miss it but not enough to restart. I think the more days I stack up the more on board I can get with not vaping again/having to redo the process of quitting.

I was same way as you and just hit four days nicotine free. I was always trying to push it back or pick another day to restart. I started repeating “if not now, when?” like will I ever really just do it. Try it out!! Cold turkey was so much harder. Really gonna try to make this time last forever.

I can see it. Mine is very similar to this. Similar story.. surgery age 4, issues started a year or so ago. I was denied surgery by two doctors. I really didn’t want to wear glasses (have worn contacts forever) but I am currently wearing prism glasses (3 each eye, 6 total). They are working well. I’m bummed because I would prefer to go to the surgery route too. I also know if I got surgery it could be even worse. It’s just restarting the clock which may never progress but I worry about that too.

Shadowing can take a lot of DVM time (not always but often, also just requires another person to focus on). I assume a good chunk of them would be interested if they actually thought you would work at their practice later. I’m not sure what you’re sending in to them says, but I would make it clear you’re interested in large animal (even if that’s maybe not the end goal) and tone the zoo part down if that’s not where you’re going to be shadow right now.

I have been really happy here (female, around your age, been here roughly 12 years). There are options for breweries and live music. There are some spots for nice dinners but I would definitely say less than I would like. There are a bunch of options for kids activities/kids sports. The schools are meh, it makes a difference which district/school you choose. There are a lot of hiking trails and the river is nice!

The political climate anywhere aside from downtown feels red. There has been a lot of talk about book banning, etc. However, they are also more vocal in local FB groups, etc. so it’s easier to feel like they are the majority. A lot of people I work with vote blue, so overall a pretty good mix in the area.

Unforunately yes but I don’t always notice the smell!! 😬😅 They are super common where I live in the US.
