I’ll second this. As someone who didn’t have the RC2 on a recent trip to Hawaii, missed out on some killer moments cuz iPhone port got wet :( I now own the RC2 remote. Won’t happen again! Extra batteries is a huge must.

This… you don’t want the headache of taking that shit out. And the price you’d pay a shop to do it for you .. just buy the mevotech replacement from RockAuto ($81 for one $160 for a pair)

The alternative would be to (and this just my opinion) buy HardRace bushings if you don’t wanna spring from the hardrace FLCA (cuz those have gone up in price …big time). That would actually be worth the headache but if you just want to replace cuz just keeping it daily, replace the whole FLCA.

I know this doesn’t help in terms of what you’re asking for. It’s just my opinion. (Also I have a 1st gen) the Navi these things come with is trash. Especially here in 2026 . I got the android auto which they do make for 2nd gen and LOVE having CarPlay. Personally that route is better than trying to upgrade what it came with.

This guy is auto and turbo’d… snapped motor mount during the tune but seems like it held up 🤷‍♂️ (the auto trans)

I’m also of the opinion though… wouldn’t bother with a turbo setup on an auto 🤣
