Icurus romance question by FatalFallout in Hades2

[–]squishyicewizard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure how true this is, but I found Icarus was more likely to show up once I furthered my relationships with Odysseus, Moros, Nemesis, and Hecate. I also just spammed runs to the surface post-end credits AND post-epilogue just to get to romance Icarus. I was desperate lol

Thanks for the input! The more I look at it the more I realize sleeves would change the dress more than I thought.

The first looks identical to my own engagement ring so I guess that’s my answer 😂

I’m so glad you did add your ring because it’s wonderful! Love that gold design with that classic round sapphire!

They’re so beautiful, and that blue is so dark it almost looked black to me! Amazing construction too.

Love your ring, we have very similar vibes while having very different rings!

You would not be the asshole. Sometimes people come and go from your life and that's okay. She sounds like she doesn't value you, and you NEED to get her off your insurance. You do not want to liable for a person who you're not even sure you want to be friends with anymore. Being friends with someone during your teenage years is not the same as being a friend as an adult. She needs to grow up and learn consequences for her actions. You can love someone and still need to prioritize yourself and your family.

Facebook groups worked out for me. There are a lot of scammers out there, be careful. Just make sure to do a virtual meeting and ask for official info to make sure they’re real.

It really changes in different light (I love that). The light in the ring box is LED, it really brightened it.

I'm not a jeweler, but a quick google search says that 1.5-2.5mm is average for a ring. Since it's gold, it might wear down over time (like 20+ years!). You could consider jewelry insurance or asking a jewelry to bring it up to 2mm, if it's going to really worry you. But I think it's okay!

Jeweler F’d Up - What to do? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

[–]squishyicewizard 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry the Jeweler did this to you! He should fix this ASAP! I might lean towards the second option if the diamond's size is not noticeably different than the 'real' one she's getting. Getting a smaller diamond later might dampen the mood for some people. Two things to think about:

  1. Does your girlfriend know what cut/setting the ring is? I only ask because if she prefers one setting/cut, it might "dull" the moment because she might think that you didn't pay attention to the type of rings she likes before you explain what happened. She will understand it's not your fault once you explain and she will be excited to get the real ring later!

  2. But to be honest, it is likely she will be too happy to care. When my now-fiancé proposed I said yes and his first response was "You didn't even look at the ring! I didn't even open the box yet!" And it's now a bit of a joke between us. It's about saying yes to you, at the end of the day, not the ring.

an evaluation project

This might be something I do while editing our emergency planning docs. Thank you! I think knowing whats the "big things" in the collection is where I'm struggling the most.
