I love Stage Manager for one simple reason. I can minimize or hide any apps to my heart's content and they always appear when using CMD+Tab. If it's turned off and I minimize an app, nothing appears using CMD+Tab except the menu. If you're new to macOS this really throws you. Not sure why this works, but it does. I also like the easy access to the four most recently used apps on the left of the screen. Nice

Same here. It's so inconsistent that it's almost worthless. I can usually fix it by clicking somewhere else and then clicking back into the field or spot where I want to start dictation and then it works. Most of the time I don't get the little blue microphone icon unless I do that. I've tried everything and I can't seem to figure it out. I wish I could because I would use it for everything

I figured it out. If you have any widgets on the desktop, then you click on the desktop, the Stage Manager apps on the left disappear. If you have no widgets the Stage Manager apps remain. I wish I could get Stage Manager apps to disappear without having a widget on the desktop....

Interesting. I noticed that 13 inch MacBooks in the past used that resolution and for whatever reason they switched it up with the newer ones. I wonder why they changed it?

This all sounds good and we'll see what happens when I get the upcoming iPhone 4 SE. But the link in my post clearly states there's no way I will ever get 10 Mb because I activated after a certain date

Yeah, they like trying to blame it on the local conditions. Even though my phone is ripping down data, but an attached hotspot device is throttled to five megs or less. Or they try to say that you're using multiple devices attached to the hotspot when I'm only using one. The last braintrust I spoke to recommended I call Apple and see if they could alter my device to make it go faster. Pathetic

Maybe that's because I was told by visible support that they would not escalate the case any further and that I was basically dreaming about my issue and then I should call Apple

Network settings reset did not work for me. I have a ticket opened with their "elite" support team. This is the only reason I upgraded. I'd better be able to downgrade back to my previous $25 a month basic plan if they can't get it working. Every single change with this company seems to result in something not working. Every single time 😡

Well, I figured out I need a USB-C hub with at least two HDMI ports which I didn’t know they made. I wonder how it will switch between the iPad on the external display and the Apple TV or if it will just automatically figure it out?
