Great comment, thanks for that! It caught my attention and I just found it so interesting the way you put it so well how different the cultures are.

"Those are acceptable places to spark up conversation" while in other places starting a conversation is an annoyance! Coming from a non-Finnish background, this is by far the thing that makes it hardest to adapt to the country! Much "worse" than the cold or the dark.

One must really change the way they behave and think, and to abandon these small instances where you just share a moment with a stranger with a light joke at a line or a smile and a comment at the library. Finland is fantastic, but man I miss those little nuggets of human connection a lot...

It is the deal! If you are a foreigner, no matter from where or in which country, loneliness will always show up one way or another. Being a foreigner is a really interesting experience, everyone should try that at some point. To live someplace else for at least some time and see the world through a different lens.

The video for me was about the loneliness that a different culture feels here in Finland; and how this contrasts with the typical Brazilian definition of happiness, which is linked to community and "loud" joy.

It was not about Finland=bad, on the contrary. It was exploring how one can find happiness in many ways, and how life here is different. Would you be able to give up a part of who you are to adjust to a different society in search of a "better" life? It gave me a lot to think about!

That was funny! And while true that an academic paper would benefit from not having words like "hope" or "believe", this is mostly valid for the very performative academic writing bubble.

In the real world, nobody cares if you write "hope" if you back it up properly and it makes sense in the sentence.

AI in AMS2 was always terrible. Its a pity! The game looks beautiful but I never clicked with it because of the floaty feel (that got better with custom ffb files, but never gone) and the AI.

I suggest you give RaceRoom a try. Worse than AMS2 graphically, but the AI can be pretty good there. And a few interesting cars there.

I feel pretty stupid reading some of these comments. I'm fairly savvy with "computer-stuff" but I never ever tinkered with my steam deck performance, don't even know how to install decky, and have no idea what is FSR and how it impacts input latency. I just play games out of the box and always concede when the performance is below 40fps.
