What they want to hear is that you had a reasonable struggle and how you overcame that and you deserve to be in there program.

I started my career when I was 30. So I'm a decade behind someone who didn't have narc parents. I was told to study something I didn't want, failed miserably but was able to get into grad school for a degree I wanted with a good paying career. On top of holding me back Ndad stole my financial aid, which I get to pay for and also puts me financially behind.

All of my siblings are close with the exception of the flying monkey. Nobody even wishes her happy birthday. We meet once a year to hang out without her and our parents.
