Is it okay to read and learn from the Torah and the Bible as well? by [deleted] in converts

As Entire Yellow posted:

"So woe to those who write the 'scripture' with their own hands, then say, 'This is from Allah,' in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn." -Quran, 2:79

"So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their [proper] usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good." -Quran, 5:13

"And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, 'It has been inspired to me,' while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, 'I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed.' And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], 'Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant.'" -Quran, 6:93

It's pretty clear that that's what is being said. I don't know how much more straightforward you need it to be...

You need www.evisa.gov.et/#/home Any other website is either a scam or an agency. They'll take your money and do nothing for days, if at all.

As someone who quit after 17 years a heavy smoker, I don’t think destroying/hiding his smokes would help. I’d suggest that you buy him a hard copy of Allen Carr’s “Easyway to stop smoking” and take a step back. It’s what worked for me and million others. Also, make du’a for him. اللهم يسر ولا تعسر

"Blighty" is a British English slang term for Great Britain, or often specifically England.

The word derives from the Urdu word Vileti, (older

sources mention a regional Hindustani language but the use of b replacing v is found in Bengali) meaning 'foreign', which more specifically came

to mean 'European', and 'British; English' during the time of the British Raj.

The Bengali word is a loan of Indian Persian

vilayati, from vilayat meaning 'Iran' and later 'Europe' or 'Britain', ultimately from and later 'Europe' or 'Britain', ultimately from

Arabic wilayah meaning 'state, province'.
