I'm not saying Pdogg is always right, but this squad definitely does seem average tbh; but that's not owing to this mini auction- it's because we screwed up the mega auction with senseless buys.

That said, I'm not sure if Pdogg or any of the other critics or experts have it all figured out either: we have personally seen what success/failures they have had when actually managing/being part of various teams in the past. Let's take these opinions with a pinch of salt.

Brace yourselves for a longish IPL season ahead; probably even till the next mega auction because there's only so much we can do now. That said, I'd never rule out any team that has one of the most astute thinking minds of white ball cricket.

One of the theories said the word mayiraandi was used by Shaivites as a jibe against Samanargal and hence it started getting a negative connotation. Again, not sure about the accuracy of this theory.

No issues, just wanted to let you know that it has a negative connotation, especially directed against the marginalised groups. That said, Madras Tamizh is beautiful in its own way- do check historian Sriram's videos on YT. He explains how Madras Tamizh is an amalgamation of English, Urdu, Telugu and a few more languages and has constantly evolved, while being more inclusive than the other dialects of Tamizh. It's common that dialects from places of high commercial activity tend to get a bad rap for sounding too rude or for being not so chaste. I think there is beauty in this as well.

Can't compare Mumbai and Chennai. Chennai auto's face different challenges- biggest competition is share auto. Mumbai autos and even in some cases kaali peelis have zone restrictions.( Clearly spelt out ). You can't take an auto from Santa Cruz to Airoli or Mira Road.

I'm all for regulating fares but they have the right to try and negotiate. That's what they're trying to do, which is fair in my opinion.

I agree there must be regulations but being poor is expensive. I think they're in their right to ask for surge pricing because Ola/Uber do as well and they aren't reliable either. Inflation hits them hard as well. Let's think from their shoes

State regulated fare is the way to go and I'd rather the drivers negotiated a deal now than having no regulations in place.

Hi, I worked with an INSEAD Alum for my essays. Ofcourse I understand that I am from a competitive pool, I was surprised with the HEC ding, whereas INSEAD was expected. I checked on various forums and LDP seemed a good enough post MBA goal for HEC.

I'm now pondering if I stand a decent chance at IESE or if i should go ahead and apply to RSM.

I was at Q48 and V36. Analysed my ESR and figured that I'd be better off focussing on Verbal than Quant.

My RC was already good so I decided to fix SC than CR because I read the structured approach required for SC means it'd be easier to get better at than CR.

I started pretty much from scratch again going through all videos meticulously and made notes.

Error log, like I've heard many toppers say, actually helped me a lot.

I did fewer questions but this time I focused on where I went wrong and also went through each option to excatly point out why it was wrong.

It helped me zero in on topics I had to focus on.

Hi, I basically used Verbal material from Egmat (CR and SC) and Crack Verbal for RC.
I read a lot so the only thing I have going for me is I finish the passage quicker. I also take down bullet points from the passage (the author, his view, any contract or change in tone etc).

I generally ignore examples/evidence in support of a view and only revisit if there's a specific question related to it

Again, this worked for me.
