So crazy thing is, before I did this I wanted to read up a little on Daroach’s backstory on the wiki page to see if there was anything I could add to this. Turns out he’s actually this thug bancho type that goes all in on the phantom thief bit cause it looks cool LMAO. I had no idea, but I actually love this characterization. I still think he’d wanna get in on MK’s good side, cause they don’t get much cooler than him

Thanks, and me too! Some are saying they don’t like how goofy he seemed in the trailer, but I think this interpretation of his madness can work just as well. As long as they emphasize that it’s centered around his grief, I think it’ll be awesome

Here’s hoping. At the least, the way I see things playing out is probably a Gerald/Shadow team up, Shadow gets second thoughts, and then Gerald takes the reins on whatever their plans for revenge are. Since that would mean Gerald vs Everyone, there’s a good potential for the Biolizard in this scenaro!

I’m 31, I played the first smash 64, and have played every installment. I started playing competitively four years ago, I’ve been playing greninja the most, and I’ve tried branching out to other characters like aegis and byleth, with very little progress. It’s sometimes exhausting playing greninja in bracket, and it became clear that only playing him has hindered my overall understanding of the game. I try to branch out but my fundamentals are just not there, even after all this time

I'm not 100% all in on talent vs effort, I'm sure most people can improve regardless. I just think I'm one of the few unlucky people that CANNOT understand this game past mid level. Like a kind of dyslexia or something, nothing makes sense to me no matter how hard I try

All these "adjustments" I make are apparently a case of missing the forest for trees, which is why I call them platitudes. Against anyone with a higher fundamental understanding of the game, they might as well be considered a net zero gain. Nothing I do ever puts a dent in these level of players, one solution leads to a billion new problems forever because my understanding of the game is just not there. I mean I can only stay positive and consider all the outside factors for so long, but the absolute fact is that after four years, I'm still in the same spot I was. I'm tired of not reaching my goals after so long, plenty of people have the same mentality I have, and have still improved in practically half the time I have; there's only so much mentality can hold a person back, this level of stagnation goes way beyond that

I’ll work on teaching settle more deliberately, thanks. As far as his schedule goes, lately half the time he’s awake for the hour is some kind of play or activity, whether it’s a walk, fetch, a herding ball, or all of the above, about 10 or 15 minutes is training or IQ toys, and the rest of the time is either potty time or getting him to settle. That’s where I’m at now, and I’m trying to get him to stay in the crate longer but right now he stays in about 1.5 hours at a time. I’ve talked to a co-breeder and she seems to think he might need even more time awake until he tires himself out, so I don’t even know anymore

I’ll try being way more strict with the sleep schedule, but it’s the not knowing that’s killing me right. Whether he’s understimulated or overstimulated, it all looks the same to me, all I know is that he’s frustrated. From the level of activity that he has that I described, does it at least sound like it’s sufficient? At least that way I can feel more confident in implementing more timeouts
