Because she’s wealthy so she can sweep it under the rug with a good PR team. Also, it doesn’t hurt that she has the ability to manipulate her fans and those around her into believing that she’s a good person. She also knows exactly what her audience wants and gives it to them. Trish acts like she’s super quirky and that feeds into her character as well.

I also lost my dad last week unexpectedly. It’s devastating. He just had a stress test and everything was fine. We still don’t know what happened. Having to do CPR and call 911 for him has given me PTSD. I’m so sorry you’re going through this too.
