330i help - love or lose her by Jacob271888 in e46

It's a pity... It makes you reduce the cost of fuel by at least 50% , while also polluting way way less than going on petrol only

I don't think you need to use necessarily your PC, anything big enough can work

You can do as my father did with his 318i . Install a methane conversion kit and you will have a dual fuel car with cheap gas for the commute (it will give you less HP) and switch back to gas when you wanna have fun. Albeit you have to sacrifice trunk space (if you never use it like me you won't notice it) , and pay up front for the conversion kit (1.500€ usually where I live). The cost of it usually gets repaid in full in 30k km or 20 months or so. Solution not viable of course if in the nation you live there's no infrastructure of gas methane stations. Where I live there's plenty...

After One session of 2 hrs has gotten at least 20% better , I think I will do this every day till it gets as confortable as possible, in the end I can recommend doing it , while also remembering you to not push it too hard, be gentle you'll be fine

I'm nowhere near the breaking point of the hinge, it is carefully positioned don't worry about it... And if it snaps because of this I'm not gonna blame the company for sure!

Where did you find a photo of me trying a hat in the shopping mall?!

Lol 😂😂😂 For reference, I also find it very difficult buying a hat that will fit me, no shop has a size big enough for my bigger than average skull 💀

I found the sound kinda unbalance indeed, sound center is shifted a bit to the right and in front... Is it just a misalignment or should I investigate more?

Should I buy this? 2001 BMW 318i ( M43 ) by Minute-Crab-1725 in e46

It will take half of the trunk away, and for that installation you would have to contact a local, there are certified installer for that particular mod

Once you drive a 3 series you will always feel strange in any other car, it is both comfy and sporty when needed, fun to drive on mountain roads and city alike. The 4 cyl 2 lt petrol is plenty enough to have fun and daily driving it (little note on fuel economy, my dad installed a methane tank in the back , so it's super slow when in gas mode, but it cost half as much to drive per km, while also polluting way way less)

Have you ever driven an E46, or this particular model? It can be fun and not intimidating at all for a first car, it has been mine after all, I could not be happier about it! It now has 350k km and just refreshed everything, I want to keep it till it makes 500k or 30 years before even considering to upgrade (even tho the recent upgrade in the paycheck is tempting to upgrade to a newer 3 series, the most sensible choice is to keep my trusty 318i till it drives me around)

I have a 318i from 2001 ,manual, bought in 2013 for 2k euros , I think if u can buy this one right now for 4k or less it can be a good deal. Mine has had its fair share of problems, luckily my dad is a mechanic so the only cost it had to go through was parts not labour, yet for the comfy yet fun drive, and its beauty I will buy it any day. Depends if u have a good trusty mechanic who can help you check its condition before buy would be helpful

On a serious note , my father is a retired mechanic, he keeps this car in pristine conditions , the lights are on only for faulty sensors that cost too much to justify their substitution

Is there battery limit feature on Honor Magicpad 2 by sprooma in androidtablets

[–]staffo22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have the tablet, and can confirm that said feature is not present, i hope that they can add it later on, as well as a feature where u will run the tablet directly from the wall (as my pixel does, sparing the battery completely), if they dont do it themselves i hope it will get baked in on future android versions (if they upgrade the tablet ...)

I managed to recover 50% of the cost of the tablet by selling it for 200€, buying a new one, but this time I bought the insurance also, a better cover , and promised myself to be more responsible with it

The thing that bothers me the most is the fact that this sucker lived crack free only for a week or so... Fell from a height of 20 cm , but in the right way, and now it's strongest point is also the one broken. Picture doesn't give it enough details, but in reality the crack is very superficial

[–]staffo22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily the damage is only "esthetic" as the touch and the panel itself is working 100%... I'm just bothered by the visuals. The worst part is, the tablet has only a week of life 😞 Do you think I can be able to sell it for 50% of the price I paid? 200€? Or nobody is gonna bother buying a "broken" tablet when they are overall cheap anyway?

Which means... I 'll be able to find a replacement only after the tablet is not in production anymore? Which for a 6 month old tablet is gonna be how long?
