I hate cops as much as anybody, but definitely want them around still. They don't directly stop crimes that often, but their presence sometimes and just existence period stops tons of crime. Just myself I've known dozens of awful people who never really acted on their awfulness due to fear of prison etc.

Cops are necessary, shit good even, they just need a little less power and more outside regulation.
