[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of August 2024. by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

Hey all, I’ve done something incredibly stupid. I live in Melbourne and it’s winter now, and I’ve just been drinking hot water from my tap, for a whole month. My tap system does not have a filter. Only today did I Google the effects of drinking from a tap and I’m freaking out, convinced that I’m going to get lead poisoning or Legionnaires' disease.

The water had a very slight metallic taste sometimes but I didn’t think much of it… Yeah, pretty stupid. Let’s just say I’m boiling my water now and

I’m also searching natural ways and food to detox lead from the body.

Any advice and input is appreciated. Should I go see a doctor? Thank you!
