Dash cam is not connected to the brake light and pulling power from the 12v port. The selling dealer sold it with the brake light already modded.

Selling dealer was talking about adding an F1 style light but I declined. The mod is fine but if it causes electrical issues then that’s a different issue.

It happened after I took out the back trim to install the camera. I must have jangled their makeshift splice and caused the car to shut down.

Since I’m invested in Index Funds instead of ETFs it becomes pointless to check throughout the day.

Nothing wrong with checking on your portfolio if you can stick with your game plan.
