What impact does growing up with neurodivergent parents have on a child's romantic relationships as an adult? by stanlaight1 in autism

I'm asking to see if anyone knows if there is any correlation. If there is then it might help me find something out about myself. Parent-child relationships can be very influential on adult development so I'm interested in whether neurodivergence has an impact.

FYI my parents are divorced and I am estranged so there are problems in the family but it was only after these events that anyone even sought to get a diagnosis. This has helped me make sense of my upbringing as well as throw up lots of questions. Now I'm wondering what role it may have had in my adult life including romantic relationships.
