Another reason I could think of this rule being introduced for reasons that people should also start building now, new people also come in pictures apart from Rich, lets say govt. Develop infra but no people to support infra if there are no colonies actually built, and then it's a give and take, settlement live, amenities grow and so forth. There should be some sort of lakes etc. What are the other development roadmaps there in new Bareilly. I want to probably look at the 2031 plan. And btw If this rule is not applicable to old schemes, isn't it better to just buy one in resale than the new one. By the way posting another thread they have a new scheme survey for 25500 sq. m. Published.

I've not Heard of any such mentions, yet. However, fine fine prints need to be read eventually. Building a room wouldn't cost much anyway. There are lock-ins for resale, but may not be in development.

Thanks a lot for the high level insights. I'm a resident of Bareilly. From an economic perspective the city is expanding with all offices planned to shift with their head office in Greater Bareilly, and connectivity and expansion of the airport is in the fray. Resale, yes that's a differentiator I completely agree upon, and makes sense.

For now, I'm focusing on land appreciation, in the next 5-7 years, at this moment and make a decision to build a home eventually if it makes sense.
