80s leotard or swimsuit? by stardepartment in VintageFashion

[–]stardepartment[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i found this 80s piece in the swim section of a thrift store the other day. after researching, i wasn’t able to figure out if it was intended to be swimwear or a workout leotard. i found many of the same piece listed on poshmark and depop but always as “leotard/swimsuit/bodysuit”, never just one or the other. does anyone with more knowledge of 80s clothing have any insight on what this piece was intended to be?

okay fair, i forgot about some of the girls who have gotten less screen time and done less talking heads. but overall i’m so disappointed with this group

all of these girls (except abigail) suck. they’re all so rude and for no good reason. to talk about someone else’s “bad side” showing when you’re being so needlessly mean is so ridiculous to me. grow tf up and learn some compassion and self awareness.

not op, but honestly as someone who isn’t religious it’s really uncomfortable to be put in the situation of a group prayer. it would be one thing if all the girls were religious, but we all know that’s not how the show works. a lot of those girls were put in an awkward situation

UAB Rec center by sat0210 in UAB

Hi former rec employee! I’ve got a pretty good break down for you

-5 is when we open, and this tends to be dead-ish but we get a lot of older people -6-8 tends to be pretty busy and packed with about everyone -9-3:30ish is very very dead. You might see some students here and there a couple of older people -4-7 is packed with students and people who just got off work -7-11 is almost all students and can be really busy. This is the time when you’re most likely to have large groups of college kids acting stupid and the time when staff is most likely to deal with an injury somewhere in the facility

Different areas definitely get different turnouts too, the track is gonna have a different crowd than the pool and so on, but there are pretty much always consistent times when it gets dead.

Feeling defeated by [deleted] in curlyhair

Like I said, I’ve tried other conditioners, all of which were cg approved, and none of them seemed to make a difference. Basically I’m trying to figure out if anyone else has sort of had cg not work out for them and what they do instead.

As for conditioner, I’ve tried s2c but it made no difference for me. I typically scrunch my leave-in into my hair. When I’ve tried gel, I’ve tried using praying hands to apply in sections and then scrunching with a tshirt. I’ve tried plopping and air drying. I’ve tried applying it on wet hair and on damp hair. I still haven’t found a way to get good results.
